The context
Daily operations. Lasting records.
Milk collection, customer delivery, and farmer settlement are connected activities. Dairify is being developed to bring those records into one coherent operational model, with explicit roles and an accountable financial history.
A dairy operations product designed to connect milk collection, delivery, and settlement.
People / perspectives
Designed around the dairy day.
The documented product direction defines distinct owner/manager, farmer, and customer roles.
Owner / manager
The designed operational workspace brings collection, delivery, and settlement decisions together.
Farmer
A participant role centered on collection records and the settlement cycle.
Customer
A participant role centered on deliveries and the records relevant to that relationship.
Designed workflow
Collection. Delivery. Settlement.
01
Collect
Capture milk collection within the designed operational workflow.
02
Deliver
Connect customer delivery records to the dairy day.
03
Settle
Close a cycle against an accountable record. Corrections should preserve the history.
Under the surface
The engineering context.
A modular core
The documented architecture proposes a NestJS modular monolith and PostgreSQL, with shared validation and exact-integer money handling.
Designed for interrupted connections
The owner/staff application is planned with Expo React Native and offline-first behavior using PowerSync. A Next.js participant portal is part of the design.
An accountable ledger
An append-only ledger and immutable closed cycles are architectural intentions. They are not a claim that all workflows are complete or production-validated.
